A great way to provide hours of entertainment for your feathery companion. The Brainiac Block™ will entice your companion to chew when you insert slices of nut or pumpkin seeds, twine, ribbons, corn husks or other small and safe intriguing bits. FUZZY WUZZY PREENER
The StarBird Fuzzy Wuzzy Preener. Hours of preening and chewing enjoyment. Fun for any size bird. Especially useful for feather abusive birds, once they start preening the Fuzzy Wuzzy they have less time to chew or chop feathers. Hang the Fuzzy Wuzzy horizontally or vertically or wrap it around a perch for an easy to reach preener. Made of untreated abaca, the Fuzzy Wuzzy Preener comes supplied with a stainless steel quick link at each end allowing flexibility in positioning for the best chewing and preening possibilities. Keep the Fuzzy Wuzzy higher than your birdie's bottom. “Plucking is a very complex and individual behaviour, we recommend that the very first thing you do is take your bird to a qualified AVIAN Vet to eliminate physical causes. The FW is not designed to be a tool to “eliminate all plucking”, but rather to be used as an alternative to destroying feathers. It is well defined that a bird that has “preening activity” available to it in its cage will in many cases “pluck or preen” that device, thus taking away time the bird may have otherwise used to pluck itself.”
