We just love using Scenic to hand feed all baby birds 21 days or older. This is NOT formula. These are pellets which, when soaked in warm water (101 - 108 degrees) puff up like little sponges yet hold their shape. They are then fed using your fingertips. Scenic is easy to use with much less chance of aspiration than feeeding formula with a syringe. Unlike feeding with a syringe, warm, wet Scenic allow young birds to experience the texture and taste of the food. In addition to hand feeding, this product can also be used to easily transition young birds from formula to solid foods.
